Maintenance Assistant Overview
Maintenance Assistant is an easy to use computerized maintenance management system that drives reliable equipment maintenance through powerful preventative maintenance scheduling and structured asset management. It installs quickly and easily without reliance on external software, and can be used maintain anything from computers to cars.
Maintenance Assistant installs in your facility as a network driven CMMS system that is securely available to anyone on your network. It can be used with any web-browser and with any operating system. Sounds EASY? Well it is!
Use it on PC, Mac OS X or Linux! Yep that's right, the Maintenance Assistant is built to run from any operating system. And since the system is maintained through any web browser, that means that all of the features are available on any operating system. This also means that there are no additional technologies or proprietary applications that you need to purchase or train your staff to use. If they can use a web browser, then they can confidently use Maintenance Assistant!
The Maintenance Manager is secure. You need not worry about your information being stored publicly, or viewable from anyone outside of your organization. The Maintenance Manager server runs locally to your network on your machine or local server. Maintenance Manager allows only users that you authorize, via encrypted username and password, to access or manage the information within your organization.This means that no unauthorized people have access to your personal information.
The Maintenance Assistant supports an unlimited amount of connections, and can be deployed for single-user or multi-user use depending on the size of your organization. You may configure the application to run on your desktop computer and just as easily you can set up the Maintenance Assistant application as a server for all network users to access via any web browser. Single-User Setup
To run The Maintenance Assistant, you may unpackage and install the server application on any machine you wish to use. Once you are finished installing, simply update the Maintenance Assistant administrative assistant with your assets, machines and inventory, and you are ready to manage away! manage your daily maintenance with your local web browser using your local computer address (example: http://192.168.1.1:8080, note: this address is located at the top right of your Maintenance Assistant administrative assistant). Multi-User Networked Mode
Setting up the Maintenance Assistant in multi-user Mode doesn't take a rocket scientist... so don't worry. The procedure is much like the single user setup, however, you will want to install the Maintenance Assistant on your local server so everyone may access it using their web browser. (If you will be setting the maintenance assistant up for remote access as well, you will need to make sure the server is accessible from outside your network)
Simply install the Maintenance Assistant on your local shared server, and update the Maintenance Assistant administrative assistant with your assets, machines, parts and technicians, and you are ready to allow your employees to start managing your assets!
